FOX Audio-Video Selected to Outfit the 2010 Martin County Red Cross Designers' Show House
FOX Audio-Video is proud to have been chosen as a member of the elite interior design team selected to outfit the 2010 Designers' Show House benefitting the Martin County Chapter of the American Red Cross. FOX was chosen to provide a state-of-the-art home theater room, integrated whole home audio and interior climate control and security cameras in the 7,000 square-foot custom home located at River Oak Place in Sewall's Point. FOX also pre-wired the home for the future expansion of audio-video distribution, as well as telephone, intercom, computer networking and Wi-Fi systems. Every room in the home is exquisitely furnished and decorated following the unique vision of the designers.
Experience mind-blowing movie entertainment in the FOX home theater room featuring a Klipsch 5:1 surround sound speaker system, Panasonic® 54″ plasma screen, Integra® theater receiver and Sony® DVD player. The room is furnished with cozy leather theater seating and adorned with Hollywood movie posters for a realistic movie theater feel.
Whole home audio is provided by a Crestron Adagio® entertainment system and flush-mounted Klipsch® ceiling speakers providing crisp, clean audio in every room from multiple sources, including CD, iPod®, AM/FM and Sirius® satellite radio — all controlled through a series of strategically-located touch panels. Touch panels have been programmed to control interior climate and lighting, as well as pool thermostat and pumps. Security cameras can be viewed and remotely operated via touch panel or home computer.
A centrally-located entertainment rack houses the whole-home audio components, including a Crestron Adagio® AES control processor/receiver and a series of Niles amplifiers to power different audio zones.
The public was invited to tour the home in April. All proceeds benefitted the American Red Cross Martin County Chapter. Wholly dependent on local funding, the Martin County Chapter of the American Red Cross provides disaster relief to local residents, as well as important life-saving skills and valuable youth leadership opportunities.

FOX Brings Home Automation to Medalist Golf Club Residence
Thanks to the skilled technicians at FOX Audio-Video, the owners of a 4,800 square-foot estate home at the Medalist Golf Club in Hobe Sound can now control audio-video components, lighting and window treatments throughout their home with the touch of a Crestron® wireless touch-panel.
FOX has integrated the finest components in sight and sound to create a fully integrated home-wide entertainment system. Residents and guests can choose from an expansive library of movies and music in every room courtesy of an expansive Kaleidescape® movie and music server. Alternatively, they can choose to listen to their favorite music or radio station via an Apple iPod® interface and FM receiver. Strategically-placed, in-ceiling speakers by Monitor Audio® deliver balanced, distortion-free sound throughout the entire residence.
A dedicated home theater room creates a central entertainment hub in the home, featuring a Pioneer Elite® 1080p Plasma TV, a B&K® surround receiver, a Panasonic® HDD digital video recorder and Monitor Audio® surround sound speakers. A push of a button dims the lights and lowers the window treatments to create the ultimate home theater experience.
The family room and kitchen provide perfect venues for casual dining and entertaining. Both rooms feature Sony® flat panel, high-definition LCD TVs that can be adjusted for any occasion thanks to articulating wall mounts. The home theater experience continues onto the pool and patio area courtesy of a Sunbrite® outdoor LCD TV on an articulating mount, a Gefen® HDMI receiver and Klipsch® hi-fidelity speakers.
